NOTICE TO ALL LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS
Each animal in the group must have been exhibited in one of the classes for single animals.
The registration certificate for each respective animal must show the Exhibitor as “Breeder” and as “Owner”-in both classes either as an individual or in partnership. In other words, the Exhibitor may be a joint owner of the animal and / or the joint breeder of an animal.
All animals must be from one farm or breeding unit.
All livestock must be free of signs of disease or unsoundness for the purpose of showing or competition.
The Delta Agricultural Society will not be responsible for the consequences, directly or indirectly, of any animal or exhibitor being disqualified or barred from showing due to contravention of the Code of Ethics.
CODE OF ETHICS FOR ALL LIVESTOCK EXHIBITORS
The following practices / procedures are considered unacceptable and defined as cheating in the show ring.

•Misrepresenting the age of the animal for the class in which it is shown.

•Balancing the udder by means other than by leaving naturally produced milk in any or all quarters.

•Treating or massaging any part of the animal’s body, particularly the udder, internally or externally with irritant or other substances to temporarily improve conformation or produce unnatural animation.

•Minimizing the effects of cramps or lameness by feeding or injecting drugs.

•Surgery of any kind performed to change the natural contour or appearance of the animal’s body, hide or hair; not included is the removal of warts, teats and horns, clipping, dressing of hair and trimming of hooves.

•Insertion of foreign material under the skin.

•Criticizing or interfering with the judge, show management or other exhibitors while in the show ring or other conduct detrimental to the breed or show.
