Notes

All honey must be produced by bees owned by the Exhibitor in 2012 or 2013.

No commercial advertising is permitted on the containers.

For this class, the following container is available from Fair Office Staff:

Appearance of Container: 5 points

Freedom from Crystals: 20 points

Freedom from Foreign materials:15 points

Freedom from Air Bubbles either in Suspension or as Froth: 15points

Uniformity of Honey: 5 points

Brightness: 10 points

Flavour and Aroma: 10 points

Density: 15 points

Colour: 5 points

1st=$25, 2nd=$20, 3rd=$15, 4th=$10

Sections

1. Liquid honey, white, one jar, 250 ml.

2. Liquid honey, golden, one jar, 250 ml.

3. Liquid honey, amber, one jar, 250 ml.

4. Cut, comb honey, 3"×4" block in foil container.

5. Beeswax: any article made of beeswax.

6. Beeswax:  2 blocks of wax, approximately 1 lb.

7. Creamed honey, one jar 250 ml.
