Exhibits are to be displayed in the Agricultural Produce Building

Notes

• All honey must be produced by bees owned by the Exhibitor in 2011 or 2012.

• No commercial advertising is permitted on the containers.

• For this class, 250 ml jars are to be used for the liquid honey and are to be supplied by

the Exhibitor.

• JUDGING CRITERIA POINTS

o Appearance of Container: 5 points

o Freedom from Crystals: 20 points

o Freedom from Foreign materials:15 points

o Freedom from Air Bubbles either in Suspension or as Froth: 15points

o Uniformity of Honey: 5 points

o Brightness: 10 points

o Flavour and Aroma: 10 points

o Density: 15 points

o Colour: 5 points

Prizes: 1st=$20, 2nd=$15, 3rd=$10, 4th=$5

Sections

1. Liquid honey, white, one jar, 250 ml.

2. Liquid honey, golden, one jar, 250 ml.

3. Liquid honey, amber, one jar, 250 ml.

4. Cut, comb honey, 3"×4" block in foil container.

6. Beeswax: any article made of beeswax.
