Notes:
Hay exhibits shall consist of 2 flakes, approximately 5"; one of which shall be used for judging while the other will be used for display.
Any corn or grain exhibits are to be shown without the roots attached.
When exhibits are to be shown in polyethylene / plastic bags, the Exhibitor shall furnish his/her own bags.

Class H2: Agricultural Display Contest
Prizes: 1st=$100; 2nd=$60; 3rd =$40

1. Agricultural Display contest, located off grounds.
Rules
1. Display must be visible from a traveled municipal road.
2. Entry forms must be completed and submitted to the Fair Office before July 12th, 2012 along
with a $5.00 Membership fee.
3. “DELTA FAIR JULY 26th -29th must be a visible part of the display.
4. Display must be ready for judging on July 16th, 2012, and remain displayed until July 30th
5. Pictures of winning displays will appear at the Delta Fair.
6. There is a limitation of one entry per residence/organization.
Class H3: Agricultural Display Contest
Prizes: 1st=$25, 2nd=$15, 3rd=$10
Sections
1. Peewee: ages 12 and under.
2. Youth: ages 13 to 17.
3. Senior: 18 years of age and older.
Rules
1. Entry must be registered and located on grounds before 9:00 p.m. on July 25th, 2012.
Check with Fair Office Staff for placement location. Exhibit must remain in place until
5:00 p.m. on July 29th, 2012.
2. Scarecrow character must be creatively designed, made with clean, safe materials, and
should be self-supporting.
3. Entries will be judged on originality, detail and entertainment value.
4. Scarecrow must be accompanied by a sign that clearly states “Welcome to Delta Fair”.
5. Exhibitor’s name cannot appear on the exhibit until after the judging has been completed.
