Fair Ambassador Program

Notations

Contestants do not have to come from a farming or agricultural background, but they must be capable of representing the rural, farming aspect of our community.

This is a worthwhile opportunity for the young people in our community to represent our fair. It helps to improve public speaking skills while building self-esteem and confidence. This program is an enjoyable, worthwhile learning experience and, no matter what the outcome, each contestant is a winner!

Eligibility

1.  Participants must be a permanent resident of Leeds County for at least one year. Participants may reside outside of the County during the school year.

2. Participants must be between the ages of 15 and 19 years inclusive.

3. Maximum of 8 contestants will be permitted.

Entries must be received at the Fair Office on or before July 12th.

Scholarships

Ambassador          $300.00

1st Runner up          $200.00

All remaining contestants will receive $100.00
